I will specifically mention the three men that deserve special attention and gratitude as they spent the majority of the time on the job; “Jay”, “Teddy” & “Larry”. I was fortunate enough to be home throughout almost all of the cleaning duration and witness firsthand the awesome dedication these three gentlemen have to their job, ensuring the utmost customer satisfaction.Every single day as I witnessed their progress and thoroughness of their work, it made me really honored to have them in my home. Our home has never been cleaner! From the basement to the second floor, nothing went untouched, forgotten or even misplaced after the cleaning was complete. These fine people went above and beyond when it came to the protection and proper movement of our furniture and expensive belongings, ensuring no damage was done to the home or the property, while they were cleaning.
Again, we couldn’t be happier with the representation these employees exhibited of Smoke Clean. Mike Pomeranz et al; thank you for maintaining such a wonderful company, and please keep up the great services that you provide. It sure is comforting to know there are businesses like yours that take care of people like us who are suffering from certain losses and unfortunate situations. I will be sure to pass on our gratitude to our insurance company, Allstate, as they deserve to know the businesses they are selecting are some of the best around!

I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of me and my family, to thank you And your staff for the way in which you dealt with the attic mold remediation at our home in North Kingstown. The responsiveness, courteousness and professionalism that you and your staff exhibited quelled a very nerve racking situation for my family and me.
Specifically, I would like commend John Lewis and Ed (I’m sorry but I forgot his last name), the two gentlemen who did the work at our home. From the moment they arrived, they made us feel that we were in good hands and that they cared about this job as much as we did. They exhibited a work ethic that was of the highest quality. They took the time to explain everything that they were planning to do each day and gave us updates as they worked. The positive results of the post air sampling just goes to show what a great job they did.
With all of that said, the thing that you and your staff should be the most proud of is that during the 3-4 days of the job, my family and I felt completely at ease with giving John and Ed total, unsupervised access to our home. That is a quality in an employee and a person that they, and you as their employer, should be extremely proud of. Thank you again for helping us with a very stressful problem. Your attention to detail was exceptional! From the bid preparation and set up, to the final completion, your work impressed many of us here. You provided a well organized service that was delivered in a very timely and efficient manner. It helped ease a stressful situation for us.

At two in the morning of April 3rd, I returned from New York to find the lower floor of my house had flooded as a result of a broken water valve. Fixing the valve required nothing more than a few twists of a wrench. Dealing with the water damage was considerably more involved.
Within a couple of hours I had mad arrangements through Mike Pomerantz (who is way too used to middle-of-the-night phone calls) to have a crew from SmokeClean at my house early in the morning to perform the disaster recovery. Mike arrived with the crew a couple of hours later. They evaluated the situation, discussed their plan with me, and immediately began the process once they had my approval. In the meantime, Mike had discussed the situation with my insurance company and received authorization to proceed. Within about six hours, they had emptied the space of all furniture and contents (while sorting, boxing and bagging the contents for inspection by both me and the insurance adjuster), evacuated the standing water, removed three rooms of damaged vinyl flooring and carpeting, cut aeration holes in certain walls, and had a collection of blowers and dehumidifiers running to thoroughly dry the area. Adding to their task was that all of this had to be done while making sure that a certain, well-hidden and completely frightened resident cat was not able to escape from the house.
It took about a week for the area to completely dry. And it took three months to get all of the repairs completed. I would not suggest this adventure to anyone, but if the need arise, Mike and Smokeclean get high praise for dealing quickly and effectively with a difficult situation – including a client who was not in the best frame of mind.

I wanted to extend a sincere thank you for all your help and support since late February when we had the fire at the Foch Avenue property. Everyone involved starting with Chris Lyons, your delivery guys, and office staff were professional and a pleasure to do business with. The quality of the work done at the house is nothing short of miraculous; cannot smell any remnant at all involving the fire. Considering the damage with the smoke and water, unbelievable… Please take no offense if I tell you that we hope to never have to do business with you again!!!! However we were fortunate in our trouble to hook up with you good folks. In closing, its always important to make the customer feel valued and appreciated; you scored like the Patriots in both ares.
